When you take the time to slow bake something, like a honey-baked ham, you are rewarded with a tender flavorful, and moisture-packed meat. This is the best kind to use as a "leftover" addition to another meal, as it retains so much of its flavor in its moisture. The combination of "sweets" used to flavor this ham complements the smoky, salty natural flavors. Even better that they are ingredients you probably already have at home.
The sweet and salty taste combination of the honey-baked ham is a delicious complement to a tangy Parmesan and Swiss cheese laced baked pasta.
Enjoy two dinners with the effort of one this week with a show stopping honey-baked ham main course, and a tasty ham and Swiss baked pasta dish another night.
